ICE stands for Internal Consistency Evalutors. An ICE is used to validate installation packages. Light has many of these checks built in. WiX v3 introduces a new tool called Smoke. Smoke is a validation utility that can be run on an existing installation database (msi file).
You can update darice.cub from the Vista SDK to get the latest ICEs.
